Another important part of our focus on health and wellness is the use of seasonal menus, featuring fresh and healthy ingredients - many of which are grown by local or regional farmers. Every season has its own unique produce that is showcased in delicious signature dishes to highlight the distinct flavors and natural appeal of seasonal items.
For students who have special dietary and nutritional needs we have informational resources and customized menus to address your needs. These menus meet the strictest compliance standards, without sacrificing flavor, texture or presentation.

Vegan & Vegetarian options on campus
Simple Servings Station. Foods served at this station are prepared exclusively with ingredients which do not contain the following allergens: milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, and gluten. Our facilities do use these ingredients in other dishes, so we do our best to take precaution to prevent cross-contamination. For students who have other special dietary and nutritional needs, we have informational resources and customized menus to address your needs. These menus meet the strictest compliance standards, without sacrificing flavor, texture or presentation. Gateway Cafe has a dedicated station to serve Simple Servings while Hale Aloha Serves Simple Servings every Saturday, Sunday and Friday (Dinner)

Our approach is to make it an easy choice for you to enjoy a healthier lifestyle in our Cafes located by the resident halls and at Campus Center Food Court. Mindful foods balance nutrition with enticing flavors to create an indulgent way to enjoy health. Our hope is that making Mindful choices becomes second nature for you not only in the workplace but also at home with your family. Being Mindful is a lifelong choice and we are here to help.
